The Special Session to change the bill is exactly where this petition is going, in person on Dec. 3rd and we all need each others support. Additionally lobbying to remove the LDS Church as a leading influence in our political system, now and always is a major important initiative this petition is also tackling. The LDS Church should NEVER have any influence over my vote or my personal life, neither yours (unless the choice is ours to allow it on a personal level). The LDS Church should not have a public platform in politics especially since the influence is so high in Utah. Please keep sharing and signing this petition to remind our elected officials that WE THE PEOPLE ELECTED THEM AND WHEN WE THE PEOPLE VOTE, it’s their job to LISTEN and ACT according to our votes and not change them based on their own personal agendas!
