We expect the NEW Re-zoning plan to be legislated by April/May 2024 - We agree that this is disappointing and had hoped it would have been legislated before the end of January 24!

While the NEW re-zoning plan for the GSMP will greatly assist in re-building local fishing stocks and protecting habitat - we still NEED The Mary River ABOVE the GSMP boundary ( approx. Beaver Rock upstream ) to BE Declared a Net Free Zone once the New Zoning plan comes into effect!
