The FCFA congratulates Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Labor for wining majority Government which will be welcomed by the recreational fishing sector who we suggest backed Labor again based on their previous support and commitment to ongoing fisheries reforms. We look forward to working with our new Minister for Environment and the Great Barrier Reef - Leeanne Enoch, who will now be in charge of overseeing the full term review of our Great Sandy Marine Park due to be competed next year in 2018. We also look forward to working with Mark Furner as our new Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries.
