Leander ISD has spent over $400,000 of public funds on these books.  This petition will be presented 1/28 to the school board.  A review committee in the district has completed one round of reviewing several book titles.  The majority on that review appear to be staying in the curriculum.  We are asking for the district to create a rubric so parents are aware of curriculum content, and we will continue to fight for parental rights!  Please continue sharing.  The petition is one of the easiest and best ways to currently get involved.
