This petition is to bring back the EFES Pilsener Premium Beer.

I am requesting that the Liquor Commission Board of Ontario (LCBO) accepts to put back on their shelves the EFES Pilsener Premium Beer from Turkey.

I am the owner of a small Turkish Restaurant in Ottawa.

Last September 2015, the EFES Pilsener Premium Beer was discontinued, with no apparent reason provided by Ms. Leanne Rhee at LCBO Headquarters.

The IB Agency is the agent for Ontario to bring the EFES Pilsener Premium Beer back. We want the beer to be made available again and put back on the shelves as soon as possible so we can still offer the product to our restaurant customers. This beer was a great seller and was very much appreciated by our clientele.

The EFES Pilsener Premium Beer was discontinued without any notice or valuable reason.

Since I have opened my restaurant, it was impossible to bring wine from Turkey, and now we face yet another irritation by not having any beer available from Turkey.

Why are all agents denying the availability of products, such as wine (red or White), from Turkey to stores in Ontario. One can find most other countries’ products. So, can you explain why not products from Turkey?

Turkey has a very good and large selection of wine (Red and White) but all our previous demands for these products were denied, forcing us to make unreasonable special orders which are unfortunately unacceptable for small restaurants to do given the limited space on our shelves. And now, no more Turkish beer!

I am asking you to support our request by signing this petition so we can have the EFES Pilsener Premium Beer back at the LCBOs  and for them to start making some arrangements to have some wine (Red and White) on their shelves so the citizens of Ontario and owners of Middle-Eastern restaurants can offer the products to their clientele.

For the last 8 years of business, we have been fighting agents of the LCBO to bring those products back but were always turned down or propure an unreasonnable special orders that we cannot afford.
