Currently, the flood on Milhaven Ave has left 500+ residents stranded with no safe way out.

Our current options are to ferry across on row boat or cross on active railroad tracks. If a train were to come residents would be forced to jump into the rushing Tuscarawas River or into flooded water. There are many young children and elderly adults affected that would not be able to cross in either of these capacities.

I am asking that an access road be placed for emergency purposes only from State Route 21.

I spoke to the fire department and they said there is currently no way for a fire truck to get to any of us in case of emergency. In case of a health emergency, they can access by UTV, however that could risk the seconds/minutes that are so crucial in emergency situations.
