Newest run around from the Kansas KVC and Child Welfare system
UPDATE:
I'm still not allowed to visit my grandson. Apparently my daughter is having difficulty getting visits as well. I've been told grandparents have no rights. I've been ignored, brushed aside, and run around for almost a year just for my grandson. 5 years with my own children before this. Kansas needs to be held accountable for tearing families apart instead of hiding behind the "we want families back together" facade.
4 days after Thanksgiving 2021 my grandson was removed from his mother's care because of "fear for his well-being" after she had been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. This is the problem with most child services departments nation wide. Mental health is NOT a good enough reason to accuse "fear for well-being", especially when the parent is under the care of a doctor and doing everything they're being told they HAVE to do in order to have children returned to the home.
Please, please help me get the word out for accountability and reform of this severely lacking and corrupt system. Good parents are being told they aren't good enough and still forced to jump through hoops that are nearly impossible when it's being shown as no hope of reintegration. Families shouldn't be torn apart off someone's personal opinion and schooling that's so far fetched from the reality of parenting. 98% of child services workers have NO children of their own, yet continue to TELL a parent how it NEEDS to be done. In reality, schooling isn't life experience. Schooling to lie and manipulate families to kidnap our children/grandchildren is what our child services have come to.
Please help spread the word on this corruption and lack of accountability for their own actions. For the doubt and self recrimination we go through because they say we're not good enough or doing it right.
Our future, our children are suffering because THEY say it's what's best for them when in reality they lie, manipulate, and kidnap. I'm looking into the grandparents rights in the state of Kansas first, then every other state in our country. We ALL have rights! Don't let other people take them from you!
