I sent copies of the petition to the Kansas State Representative and the Governor of Kansas. I was contacted by my grandson's DCFS worker about my concerns. Why won't the people in positions of power actually do their job? If the governor of a state is contacted, directly, about certain concerns why can't they actually reach back and learn the reason for the concerns themselves? Isn't that why we voted them into office? Maybe I have a different idea of what our "political leaders" are voted for but my knowledge is, they pitch all the changes they "will" make to improve certain issues and we the people decide on who will be working in the best interest of specific concerns.
