Saakaram Tweetathon was a roaring Success

Our Team by the name Saakaram, planned a Tweetathon on 17th sept 2021, spreading awareness about the importance of having access to data that reflects effective implementation of POSH law in our state of Telangana. It started at 10am and within 2 hours our hashtag #NoDataNoPOSH was trending in Top 30 pan India. Not only that, supporters from other states as well took to twitter and retweeted from our Saakaram Twitter handle, some even in their regional languages spreading awareness about POSH law and how women deserve to be assured safety at their workplaces, which in turn cam improve the female workforce participation towards our economy.

We had a couple of eminent people with huge following tweet about our petition & why our ask is so important. By the end of the day we had around 2300 tweets creating some noise on twitter with more than one lakh+ impressions & considerable engagement. Students, Industry Professionals, media persons and social activist organizations participated very well in our Tweetathon. 

Our team was overwhelmed by the response and would like to thank all our supporters for contributing to the change making process to make POSH law effective in our state. A big thank you.
