Good afternoon, Alexandra:

My name is Grayson, and I am Alderman Reilly's Executive Assistant. While I have not reviewed this petition with the Alderman to get his feedback, I can tell you that Alderman Reilly and 16 of his colleagues signed a letter to the Mayor on February 17 calling for a national search. I can also relay to you that today, Ms. Capello's nomination passed the Committee on Health and Human Relations. Alderman Reilly is not a member of, and had no voting power in, the Committee meeting today considering Ms. Capello's appointment.
