So, I've been lucky enough to receive some Ketamine Infusion therapy for my MDD. 

I received my first treatment Christmas Eve and second New year's day!

I had another one March 12th ,and will be receiving another this Sunday.

Technically, for mental health you're suppose to receive two infusions a week for 3-4 weeks, than a booster on occasion.

Although, I was able to get this covered so it's better then nothing for now.

Honestly, this has been helping me so much still. Nothing in the past has ever helped. Also, I recently discovered that I'm a rapid metabolizer with the enzyme CYP2C19 which is why past treatments have failed.

People with these type of enzymes who are medication resistant to depression and other mental health conditions; have a huge barrier for accessing proper treatment which can be life changing.

Without insurance these treatments are extremely expensive for the average person. Some insurance companies won't even accept it.

The sad part is the drug itself is very cheap. People should be able to get this covered under Canadian Healthcare.
