Nationwide Building Society to Glastonbury?

Nationwide Building Society are considering opening a branch in Glastonbury. Yes, they are seriously considering this, but they need to know that they are going to get community support. Community support means new active customers. Nationwide are a building society and not a bank, however they do offer a range of banking services, so from a service offering a personal customer can access a plethora of services. They are however, answerable to their members as opposed to their shareholders and thus tend to be very community focussed. It is fantastic news for Glastonbury, but also good for residents of Street and Wells as their current nearest branches are either Bridgwater, Taunton or Yeovil.
