Thank you for being part of our
2019 Lassen County Out of the Darkness Walk!
Hello Kam,
Let me begin by saying thank you! Community supporters came together for the Lassen County Out of the Darkness Walk on September 7, in Susanville. It was a day filled with hope, strength, tears, hugs and pride. As Lassen County's first Walk, it was a HUGE SUCCESS!
The walk has raised over $10,000 so far! That's incredible! We are so close to reaching our goal of $15,000 and we need your help to get there! These critical funds will help us to bring programs like Talk Saves Lives and More Than Sad (high school program) to your local community, and bring us one step closer to our goal to reduce the suicide rate 20% by 2025.
Thank you to all the walkers, virtual walkers, volunteers, sponsors and donors that helped make this year's walk possible. You are true heroes in the fight against suicide.
I look forward to seeing you all again next year! With your help, we can make the 2020 Lassen County Out of the Darkness Walk even bigger and better!
With gratitude and hope,
Lezlie Young
