Despite e-mailing Lapland UK four times now they are choosing not to respond or even acknowledge any of my e-mails despite the fact that 6657 people have signed this petition in just 18 days and are clearly making their disdain for the use of live reindeer felt.

I would urge everyone who has signed the petition to personally e-mail the event organisers and flood their inbox with objections. 1 person and 1 petition can be easily ignored, but it is much harder to ignore multiple voices raising the same objections over and over again. It is worth noting that a recent report by One Kind, written by Dr Tayla Hammond, recommends that all use of live reindeer in events is ceased due to the immense suffering reindeer can experience at such events, including the weakening of immune systems, stress from engaging with the public and mental and physical fatigue.

Please also continue to share this petition on all social media platforms so we can keep raising the number of signatures - the more people that sign the more Lapland UK can see just how much of the country object to their cruel use of live animals.
