Protestaktion: BUNTE BILDUNG - FREIE BILDUNG unter diesem Motto steht der Protest gegen die geplante Einführung von Studiengebühren für Nicht-EU-Studierende und Studierende im Zweitstudium. Am 29.04.2017 werden in verschiedenen Städten Protestaktionen stattfinden: Freiburg: https://www.facebook.com/events/460182844329531/ Heidelberg: https://www.facebook.com/events/1468721513177903/ Karlsruhe: https://www.facebook.com/events/659780054146838/ Stuttgart: https://www.facebook.com/events/645057385702856/ Warum auch Du zur Demo kommen solltest: ♦ Jeder (junge) Mensch hat das Recht auf eine gute Ausbildung - ohne Rücksicht auf Herkunft oder wirtschaftliche Lage. Studiengebühren verhindern, dass ärmere Menschen studieren. ♦ Internationale Studierende bereichern unsere Unis: Sie bringen neue Perspektiven, haben interessante Forschungsideen, engagieren sich ehrenamtlich, machen Sprachtandems, sind Freund*innen. Mit der Demo teilnahme setzt du auch ein Zeichen gegen fremdenfeindliche Stimmungen. ♦ Seit Jahren sind die Universitäten überlastet. Es ist dreist, dass Studierende jetzt auch noch dafür bezahlen sollen Kürzungen zu vermeiden - also dafür, dass sich nichts verbessert. Wir fordern eine angemessene Hochschulfinanzierung, die nicht auf Kosten der Studierenden umgesetzt wird! ♦ Durch Gebühren wird Bildung zur Investition. Das geht zu Lasten von geisteswissenschaftlichen Fächern, die einen geringeren individuellen ökonomischen Nutzen - sind aber natürlich wertvoll für die Gesellschaft. ♦ Ein erheblicher Teil der internationalen Studierenden kommt aus Entwicklungsländern. Wir fordern die Landesregierung auf, ihrer globalen Verantwortung gerecht zu werden und ihren Beitrag zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung zu leisten. 2. Study fees are keeping less fortunate people from studying. - International students are an enrichment for our universities: They bring new perspectives, have interesting research ideas, volunteer, take part in language tandems and they are friends. By joining the protest you set an example against xenophobia. - For many years students have suffered due to shortages and deficiencies in University funding. It is audacious, that students are supposed to pay to avoid cutbacks - meaning, that nothing will improve by their payment. We demand an appropriate funding for universities, that does not consist of student payments. - Study fees turn education into an investment. To the disadvantage of humanistic study programs, whose individual economic value is lower, yet they are still valuable for society. - A significant part of international students comes from developing countries. We ask the government to live up to their global responsibility and to contribute to a sustainable development. 2.
