On the advice of my legal officer, yesterday I went and met with Sri. Dayananda K A, IAS    Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate of Bengaluru Urban.

I was told he would be available at 3.30 pm, but it turns out he decided to attend his "DC Court" for an hour before he could meet public. 

I handed over my petition and appraised him of the undue hardship and delay faced by my family. He said he would ask officials to look into it, but didn't promise anything.

All this in the backdrop of the corruption scandal and arrest of the former Deputy Commissioner last year. Do I keep my fingers crossed on a resolution of this long pending issue?
