I have been blogging, tweeting and seeking support for my petition to refuse to pay a large bribe to have my case reviewed by the office of Bengaluru Deputy Commissioner. (Youtube -  #NoToBribe I will NOT pay ₹10 Lakh #Bribe - #Exserviceman's land registration pending 25 Years).

Looks like I am not alone. Based on allegations of a 5-lakh bribe for a land dispute case, Karnataka's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday summoned Bengaluru Urban District Commissioner J. Manjunath for interrogation in connection with the bribe case.

The State government on Friday shunted out J. Manjunath as Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru (Urban), after he came under a cloud over corruption allegations.

At this time it is uncertain what this means to pending cases at the office of  Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru. However, I will continue this fight to seek justice and get our Land registration done without paying a hefty bribe.
