Update

So last week LCC passed the spending proposals which includes £800,000 for refuges. After multiple phone calls no-one can tell me how that will be divided among the nine refuges. It means services are still in a state of limbo. There are lots of conversations happening about how we keep fighting for funding going forward and campaigning for the services to be made statutory. Refuges are already struggling to meet demand which shows we haven't got a handle on tackling domestic abuse. I'm currently working on a few plans before going off on holiday and will up date in the coming days. Thanks Sarah
