An update on the Sancho mural

Thank you all so much for the amazing support you've shown for a mural of Jadon Sancho where he grew up in South London. The response has been outstanding.

We're delighted to share that Lambeth Council have expressed their support for our mural, with Cabinet Member Danny Adilypour saying: "We’re currently looking to identify a suitable location to mark his achievements and our support for him."

We're grateful for the Council for their quick and positive response and we look forward to working with them. We've been in communication and hope to be able to share details of their plans soon.

Over the weekend a mural in Darlington paying tribute to Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka was defaced with racist graffiti. This underscores the importance of our campaign - showing that South Londoners' stand with Jadon and the other England players, who have suffered racial abuse.
