Lakewood township has recently put up bids for multiple electronic billboards around town .

We demand that this proposal be stopped immediately .

The expected income to the township is a mere drop in the bucket compared to the harm it will do to  the town .

Constantly changing and flashing signs is an eyesore and cheapens the towns image . 

It may down the line expose to us  unwanted content .

It may also be a distraction to drivers .

As far as we know, surrounding townships have not invited this type cheap eyesore .

Why should Lakewood be different .
