Thanks to everyone who signed the petition and supported this cause. We really appreciate you! Today the Sheriff placed a radar speed trailer on Lakeshore Dr. He spoke with his patrol and asked them to enforce speeding on this road. He's asked the commissioner's for more deputies in order to adequately enforce the law. This is a step in the right direction. However, we need a more permanent solution involving new signs and ongoing traffic enforcement. It would require less man power if we had the radar speed signs installed. All we need is 3. They are about 3200.00 each. We need to continue to ask the county commissioner's to install these in order to tame traffic.
