Petition Description Updates and Clarification

Supporters of Pard Power,

Thank you so much for signing our petition! We are excited about moving forward and proposing the idea of Pard Power to the school soon.

Unfortunately, however, it has been brought to our attention that the petition description included some misinformation. Although the petition stated that the food option had been taken away from the Rec Center because of restrictions imposed by the pandemic, it was actually removed earlier for other reasons. Additionally, our petition claimed, without basis, that the nutrition stand would bring in more patrons to the Rec Center. We would like to be clear that this statement was entirely made out of assumption of some potential benefits of our stand, NOT on the basis of any research. We have adjusted the wording to highlight that this is a prediction only. 

We hope you find the new, slightly adjusted petition to be just as pertinent as the version you had originally signed, and encourage you to continue to share our link with friends on campus.
