Last night the Lafayette planning commission held a public hearing on the application for the massive development at 287 in Arapahoe now called “the range“, previously called Lafayette marketplace.  I testified In an in an  along with Karen Norback, Vicky, Ulind, Richard Binzel, and  Ron Nelson along with many others.  After public testimony, The members of the planning commission spent hours sharply questioning the developer. A seasoned observer of these planning commission meetings told me they thought the evening was “a rude wake up call“ for the developer.

The next step in the process is a February 3 City Council Hearing on February 3 at 5:30 PM at Lafayette City Hall, 1290 Public Rd. in Lafayette. Please plan to attend whether you wish to speak or not. It would be great if you do wish to speak, but the size of the crowd also matters.
