I just sent the message below to all Members of the Lafayette City Council:

“Quick report on the Kensington “the range“ community meeting last night. The room was packed with Citizen voters all of whom expressed opposition annexation and to the project. Planning director, Steven Williams did a great job Kensington representative Edgar Crockett exhibited “Grace under fire“. But, he had no real answers for community concerns about Traffic, water schools and the incompatibility of the Kensington project with the community of Lafayette. Edgar graciously acknowledged that thousands of citizens have signed a petition against his project. I assured the room that the Lafayette City Council cares sincerely about the views and concerns of citizen voters. And I predicted That in the end the City Council will side with Lafayette citizen voters over an Illinois developer.”
