Let’s Compare and Contrast, the daily posts between the Death Camp of Apple Valley Animal Shelter and San Bernardino County Animal Care (Devore), since 7/22/2025—when AVAS Rescue Team and Staff, shamelessly LIED and BEGGED the Town of Apple Valley, California Council NOT to sell the “Shelter” to San Bernardino County
- AVAS EXECUTED 26 Dogs from their Euth/Urgent Lists
- AVAS Scheduled their “Paws and Claws” Annual event in October 2025 (while they had animals quietly “Pending Euthanasia”)
- AVAS thanked a number of their donors for their ongoing “Fix-It” Fundraiser (while they had animals quietly “Pending Euthanasia”)
- AVAS started a back to school supplies donation for kids (while they had animals quietly “Pending Euthanasia”)
- AVAS featured a few kittens and a pot bellied pig (while dogs and cats were “Pending Euthanasia” and they quietly unlisted them for EXECUTION)
- AVAS started a fundraiser for a dog with a broken leg, because they don’t have any Rescue Partners who are willing to work with them Meanwhile, 9 other Dogs are quietly “Pending Euthanasia”
- Devore Staff facilitated 37 Rescues of Urgent/Euth Listed Dogs (no dogs killed)
- Devore partnered with ARFF and NBC for the August Clear the Shelters Event—so far 13 Dogs were adopted in 2 Days
- County had their Mobile Vet Clinic Free Spay/Neuter event on 7/24 (next one on 8/07)
- County partnered with pawmission.org to provide Free Spay Neuter to Unincorporated Towns on 8/09—Registration started on 8/01
- Devore rolled out their Volunteer “Telling Tales Reading Program”— students read to animals: animalcare.sbcounty.gov/telling-tails-reading-program/
- Devore Featured their Foster program and participants
- Devore Animal Behaviorist featured numerous dogs with photos and videos, as well as Cats and “Kitten Yoga”
THERE IS A MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO SHELTERS—AVAS just uses animals as photo opps, to pretend like they care…while they quietly EXECUTE them Devore is ACTUALLY doing a number of things to promote animals, so that they EXIT ALIVE…and they are actively working on controlling the animal population
THOSE OF YOU WHO OPPOSED THE SALE OF AVAS TO COUNTY SCREWED THE ANIMALS—YOU HAVE BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS
San Bernardino Grand Jury needs to investigate the negligence of AVAS

Let’s Urge the Board of Supervisors, Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr., Supervisor Paul Cook, Supervisor Jesse Armendarez, Supervisor Curt Hagman, Supervisor Dawn Rowe to END their contract sooner with AVAS, since most of their animals are getting KILLED
