

LA County DACC Presents Heart to Home:
A Super Pet Adoption Event
at William S. Hart Regional Park
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) is pleased to announce the second Heart to Home Super Pet Adoption Event taking place at William S Hart Regional Park in Santa Clarita on June 15 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. This event offers a unique opportunity for pet enthusiasts to meet pets from all seven DACC care centers while supporting local businesses and having fun!
The Heart to Home Super Pet Adoption Event aims to bring your local animal care center to you at a fun and family-friendly event. From playful puppies and kittens to gentle senior dogs and cats, there will be a diverse range of animals available for adoption, ensuring there is a pet for every loving family.
"Last year’s Heart to Home Super Pet Adoption Event was a rousing success, with over 50 adoptions," said Marcia Mayeda, DACC Director. "This year we aim to build on that success, and with all seven of our animal care centers participating, we’re certain that anyone attending with find the perfect pet for their family.”
The Heart to Home Super Pet Adoption Event is funded by the Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation, with the Annenberg Foundation providing waived adoption fees (includes spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccinations; license fees are usually $20 other fees may apply).
Representatives from the LA County Animal Care Foundation as well as DACC Licensing, Emergency Response, Volunteer Services, and Animal Control Officers will be in attendance to aid the community in learning more about DACC services as well as how to get involved.
Participating vendors include Kona Ice, St. Florian Catering, AV Cryo Candy, Arrah Sarancha, Color Street, Pampered Chef, Realty One Group, Black Aswad Coffee Co, Pet Supplies Plus Valencia, and Rock with it Jewels.
