Spencer suffers from Cushing's Disease, a condition he developed after being rescued from the Downey Animal Shelter. Upon arrival, we discovered that he had a PDA, which we immediately decided to address by funding a $9000 heart surgery when he was three years old. Now, at the age of 8, Spencer has been diagnosed with Cushing's Disease, exhibiting symptoms such as heavy panting, increased appetite, and a distended belly. Despite these symptoms, he remains energetic and enjoys social gatherings.

I have been researching extensively online for guidance on how to manage Cushing's Disease in dogs, but I have yet to find a definitive solution to "healing" Spencer. While I am willing to cover any surgical expenses required for his treatment, I have been unable to locate a veterinarian in the Los Angeles area who feels confident in fully treating Cushing's Disease. 

Therefore, I am reaching out to this community in the hopes of finding someone who can direct me to the best veterinarian in the Los Angeles area who specializes in Cushing's Disease. If there is a possibility of performing a surgery that could leave Cushing's Disease behind, I am determined to find all the answers I need to find and afford Spencer the helps he deserves.
