South LA Animal Pound kills 4 after receiving letter of intent from rescue wanting to pull all 4. More info to come. Many LA county and city residences are complaining about Mayor Bass and her administration's lack of effort to help our homeless cats and dogs

L.A. County continues to boast about animal pound closures claiming air quality is better in the Pounds when families aren't there.

Many animal shelters have been having problems moving their dogs and cats . Big Bear California is no exception. We have a mama and her puppies with no interest. We've had a bonded pair of huskies at the pound for almost 6 months. We now have a Momma and her pups. The closest Dog Rescue is more than 45 miles away. We need help.

If you can adopt this mama and her puppies, one of our other dogs or cats or even the bonded pair of huskies/Alaskan malamutes, please call the Shelter directly. The bonded pair of huskies has more than $2000 worth of pledges for rescues.
