 EUTHANASIA SET FOR TODAY  #A2066826 - Such an adorable demeanor! Puppy-face! He’s not doing well in the shelter environment- so he’s only got 5 hours to live. It’s sickening In the yard, we’ve found that this little guy is friendly and engaged. He’s not super interested in toys but he loves treats and will happily work on his basic commands for a snack! He will also come when called and stick close to handlers for lots of pets! Due to extreme stressed in his kennel, it can be difficult to leash him because of that. He grabs the leash and tugs whenever you try to loop him. Once out of the kennel setting, he immediately calms down & walks to the yard nicely, not reacting to the barking dogs around him. Unfortunately, because of how tricky it is to get him out, not many volunteers can give him the regular out of kennel enrichment he desperately needs.

Pacific has done well in playgroup with other large dogs too! He’s described as social, tolerant, and playful! While difficult to leash in his kennel, playgroup staff noted he’s tolerant of handling and affectionate once out of the kennel setting.
