While Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn (#HahnTheCon) and Director of Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control Marcia Mayeda (#ShadyMayeda) work at cutting back employee hours, fight to keep limited access to the pounds, train animal pound workers on how to teach residents to dump the animals they find back out on the streets, we learn about ANIMAL SHELTER HEROES like Anastasiia Yalanskaya who DIED with two animal rescue friends while trying to get food to an animal shelter in the Ukraine where animals had not been fed in three days (watch the video at the link below).

Let us be inspired by the lives of people like Anastasiia who paid the ultimate price while trying to SAVE LIVES. Let us NOT ACCEPT the deceitful efforts of #HahnTheCon and #ShadyMayeda as they continue to restrict access to our local animal control facilities.
