I ran across a link showing 600 cats and kittens waiting to be rescued or adopted at Los Angeles County and Los Angeles City Animal Pounds. Administration will tell you they need to keep this highly controversial appointment only system that is secretly being implemented nationwide by Animal Control facilities who have historically showcased weak leadership. What really needs to happen is someone needs to get fired. We need to clean house and get employees who showcase compassion towards our animals in need. Ask yourself. Why aren't our shelter gates OPEN?
