On August 5, 2015, Los Angeles residents showed up at South Los Angeles Animal Shelter and went live on Facebook. We were nervous if the shelter would chase us away or embrace us. It was the first day Facebook made available the LIVE feature to all of its users. On that day, our small group networked ALL the animals made available to us. While we were live on Facebook, people in the nearby community saw our video feeds and started to show up at the pounds wanting to adopt animals they saw on our LIVE feeds.

Tomorrow, August 28, starting at 11 AM (last minute I know), I want you to join me and my friends at South Los Angeles Animal Shelter as we attempt to accomplish capturing all the animals on Facebook yet again. The more people that show up, the faster we can capture all the animals in need of adoption/rescue.
