MAGGIE WAS ADOPTED!

It's Sunday morning and I'm trying to figure out how to network Maggie (see https://petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=LACT3.A1994163 and help her find an immediate home (see additional links and photo below). She is scheduled to be killed TODAY, August 21(end of day) by the South Los Angeles City Animal Pound (see https://www.facebook.com/joyfreiberg/posts/4011366692325429

The GOOD NEWS is the City of Los Angeles is OPENING THE POUNDS to the GENERAL PUBLIC on WEEKENDS starting TODAY, August 21, 2021. If you are reading this, you can go directly to South Los Angeles Animal Pound today and SAVE MAGGIE'S LIFE...NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY. Thank God Maggie is not at a Los Angeles County Animal Pound where no one has been able to figure out how to Open The Pounds again. Maybe someone should call The City of Los Angeles and get some coaching.

OPEN THE POUNDS NOW MARCIA MAYEDA, DIRECTOR OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY ANIMAL POUNDS. Pick up the phone and call The City of Los Angeles who has apparently figured it out. Stop spending tax dollars trying to figure out how to keep the public out.

Slated for Euthinasia on Sunday Her name is Maggie #A1994163 a White and Brown, Unaltered Female/Boxer. Severely Neglected - 9 years old/Emaciate 42 pounds. She arrived on 8/11/2021 completely infested with fleas - no owner has come for her.
***NEEDS OUT ASAP!***
Medical Notes: Emaciated, not doing well in shelter. Mass on the inner left carpus, mass off of the dorsal anus. This dog is very depressed.
Behavior Notes:
Quiet in her kennel. Wouldn't come out of her cubby, had to leash her from the cubby. Walks well on leash but appears to have a stiff gait. Nervous in the play yard, trembling.
Wouldn't seek engagement, hesitant to interact, allowed to be pet but handler moved slowly and softly.
