L.A. County and L.A. City Animal Pounds work hard to make communities believe THE LIE. Animal Pounds LABEL animals when they are dumped at animal pounds in two CLASSES. They label them either ADOPTABLE or UNADOPTABLE. These employees are NOT trained in medicine or animal behavioral sciences. When they label them UNADOPTABLE (bad), those animals are REMOVED from ALL STATISTICAL DATA presented to the public. Organizations like using only the ADOPTABLE ANIMALS in their public statistics. They want YOU to believe that they are achieving NO-KILL status when in fact they are hiding the old, sick, behavioral, or ugly dogs and cats in padlocked cages. During Covid, they decided to make this process of HIDING ANIMALS PERMANENT.  In many cases, our animal pounds don't even list UNADOPTABLE ANIMALS on the Internet. Meanwhile they use our donations to promote NO-KILL status WHICH is not true. Now with the public restricted from accessing the animals, THE LIE is easier for our pounds to achieve. WE MUST REOPEN THE POUNDS NOW SO THEY CAN STOP HIDING ANIMALS IN PLAN SIGHT.
