Below are the addresses where we hope to have at least 10 people per location. Please bring your own poster that reads "OPEN THE SHELTERS NOW" or whatever you want. We do have an article coming out in the Los Angeles Times in the near future. Hopefully, we can get some media to cover these protests. The reason we are pushing up the PROTEST is because on Tuesday, July 27, the LA County Board of Supervisors is having their next meeting where they have requested the LA County Animal Services to give an update on reopening the pounds. This is a NEW DEVELOPMENT as LA Supervisor Janice Hahn placed a MOTION TODAY July 13th, 2021 for the Animal Pounds to give us an update. As we know, this is NOT the plan of LA County Animal Services to give us OPEN UNFETTERED ACCESS to the animal pounds again. They have explained to me that they are planning to keep the appointment based system in place. We need to steer the LA County Board of Supervisors to require the animal pounds REOPEN to the General Public. We can get our voices heard by protesting on  July 24th, 2021 from 10AM until 2PM and notify all of our LA County Supervisors of all the problems happening at the pounds.
