North Carolina Grandparents want rights

The Grandparents of NC have no rights when it comes to our Grandchildren and It's not right not only to the grandparent but it's also hard on the children. To many times I see (and myself included) NCDSS placing children with the grandparents to keep them out of foster care or right out raising their grandchildren. 

In November of 2016 the mother (not my daughter) of one of my grandchildren had her two children taking by NCDSS and placed into foster care 4 months later to courts placed them with me and they stayed with me till June 25, 2018 when they were placed back with their Mother. Now she won't return my calls or let me see or talk to the children. If NC had Grandparent right I and all other grandparents on NC would be able to be apart of our grandchildren's life.
