For more than 40 years, this previously free car park has been an invaluable asset to traders and shoppers in Sedgley. However, since the companies in question began charging people to park here last November, some traders have reported a loss in takings which will have a negative effect upon the village. Unsuspecting members of the public have also been hit with large parking fines which they feel are unjust. We, the undersigned, urge both companies to reconsider their decision to charge people for parking here - the future of trading in Sedgley could depend on it.
