The toxic chemical BPA was found in the lining of approximately 1/3 of store brand food cans tested from Kroger and Albertsons and their subsidiaries in a new report we co-released.  This is an improvement as our testing last year found BPA in 2/3 of cans tested nationwide. There’s no doubt that these companies have taken note of your petition signatures! But one out of three is still way too high. BPA is a hormone-disrupting chemical that can be harmful at incredibly low levels of exposure. It has been linked to breast and prostate cancer, infertility, and type-2 diabetes. BPA shouldn’t be in any of the cans on store shelves! Read all about the new report here:
