Animal Justice’s Georgie Purcell answered Knox AdvoCats: ‘We agree that mandated curfews are ineffective and lead to higher instances of impoundment and euthanasia which has flow on effects to the community, pet owners, vets, and their staff. …we do not support mandated or 24/7 confinement because it doesn’t acknowledge or benefit semi-owned or stray cat populations.’

Victorian Ombudsman where are our 143 Knox AdvoCats complainants? The Vic Ombudsman guaranteed that our group case would be counted with all complainants. Before submitting we asked if we should submit separate complaints, if a group complaint would be counted as only one - and were assured it would not be. 143 individuals followed the Victorian Ombudsman’s specific guide for our case. The Victorian Ombudsman Annual Report has disappeared our 143 Knox AdvoCats complaints. Knox AdvoCats has written to question this omission.
