Victoria’s Mount Alexander Shire also had no consultation, and their Council recently voted for lifetime lockdown, but after public outcry quickly amended to sunset-to-sunrise. Frankston residents won against 24-hours, and even got dogs their own beach. Be a voice for those who cannot speak. We need AdvoCats everywhere against cruelty to cats. Reveal Local Councils’ copycat Agendas. Knox Councillors are bullies, destroying homes and health, during a pandemic. Seven selfish councillors. Seven thousand cat-owners. Please stand up for Life and Kindness.
Artists make music, film, noise. Cats deserve equality with Dogs to live well. We need truth and justice for felines. The right to love a cat without imprisonment. People can be judged by how well they treat animals. (Liverpool, England cat protest below)

Cats need political support which needs thousands of Victorians signing the petitions to Parliament - showing we care.
Vive la difference - we need diversity. Knox Council claiming cats can be walked like dogs, is unsafe, unfeasible and unreasonably unfair. Cats cannot be pulled, and vets state they need ‘jumping’ to keep healthy.

RSPCA are not animal welfare experts. The RSPCA, a private organisation, and the leading killer of cats in Australia, held meetings with Local Councils urging for this Order. Knox Council partnered with the RSPCA and sent out RSPCA booklets, webinars, citing as a ‘peak body’ ‘expert’ in ‘cat welfare’, paying the RSPCA - making a killing. Other Councils confirm that the RSPCA lobbies for ‘cat containment’.
Revenue raising? Knox Council has a $78million debt this year, rising to $96million next year, and is borrowing $50million this year. This is not about cat welfare, and not about saving wildlife. Otherwise Councils would target just the 85% of homeless cats - but the homeless cannot pay - except with their lives. 24-hr cat curfews end lives, make less homes, remove the quality of life. Knox Council is promoting free traps, and say they will hide the identities of cat complainants and not require statements.
The Pandemic brought power-brokers of cruelty, ‘proudly’ fanning hatred and harm. Knox ‘community leaders’ vote against healthy living, if you own a cat. An aged Knox resident tells of a tenant setting up low cameras in their building to catch cats going past, and the other aged residents are living in fear.
Stand Up for Life. Bullies can be overcome, if we all stand together for fairness. Please help - Be Kind, to Cats.
