Time for Action!

Hello @everyone! Sorry it's been a bit quiet from me on here, we've been working behind the scenes on the next phase of the campaign which is all about you guys having your say and commenting on the planning application.

As always, KNPG are here to offer help and support, so we are planning to drop 10,000 - yes TEN THOUSAND - flyers through the doors of south Bristolians, to raise awareness of the plans and encourage people to comment by 31st December. They'll be landing between 21-30th Nov but I’ve attached a sneak preview for you guys! Huge thanks to everyone who donated to our Crowdfunder, this part of the campaign is costing £500 so we really couldn’t have done it without your generosity.

We've also compiled a big list of suggested paragraphs to help you pick'n'mix the statements that sum up how you feel about the plans. These include references to national and local planning policy so it saves you the headache of having to read all of the policies yourself. This is still being worked on and will be available from 21st November.

And if you want to say something that isn't covered by these pre-written statements, or have any other questions about writing your objection - we'll be holding a couple of drop-in sessions on 10th & 13th December at the Church of the Nazarene on Broad Walk (opposite the Redcatch Park car park). I know you guys have strong feelings and know your stuff, but do feel free to come along to these sessions to make your objection as strong as it can possibly be.
