As  pet owners we have every right to protect our pets who are in our homes and should not have to endure the stress that fireworks cause them as well as the stress they cause us. More pets go missing over the Fourth of July weekend than any other time of year.
To pet owners this is a form of animal abuse and should be recognized as such
