Silence sustains systemic abuse!

June 28th, 2021, the KHS School board met to listen to the publicly disseminated findings of the independent investigation they were pressured to request of the school. Since that time the current principal as well as the superintendent, most notably, have been silent relative to assuring the community, parents and students, that the children are, at last, safe on the campus, that there are no known predators in places of employment and authority over them. This is not acceptable to say the least.
The petition questions three principals who most densely knew about the numerous cases of sexual abuse happening at the school during  the many years they had oversight. The petition represents a collective and growing demand that they make known the truth, that they finally hold perpetrators accountable, that they assist with efforts for justice. 
There is no possibility of blowback in signing such a petition. We ask the principals and their superiors to do their job in this matter. This is neither subversive nor destructive. We want safety for the children and serious positive change. 
Their continued silence obstructs this effort.
