For Warrior Hill / Mound
Chas c p Hobkirk 1859 in a book : 1859 Huddersfield Its History and Natural History 1st Ed Scarce
That the Hill must have been "Significant" because bonfires were lit on it & on Castle hill on a number of "Royal Occasions" people did refer to the hill as "The Warriors" the Wiki page has several spelling typo mistakes. We would need to obtain the original book for full details. This makes the Royal Interest highly evident.

The Circles have a very large stone bridging the gap between 2 stones. Named the Recumbent stone. I believe that the name for the "Brigantes" Meaning Bridge, mast, pole, beam is worth noting as this bridge like feature would have been significant to the druids & pre druid prehistoric people.

Now on the subject of the "Warrior hill" (Roundwood) or the Brighouse whatever you want to call it... The Dates for the events leading up to it being built on with the "D" shaped road Edgewood avenue & the Formation of Kirklees council & all the other events.. the Emley moor mast, Tolkien & everything else... I will note that... The "Criminal Damage act 1971 was a new act that was drafted & passed it must have been extremely close to the time of the construction of Edgewood Avenue. I know this act well because I have had to study it in detail as part of another petition, in fact USE THE ACT as part of the "Right to petition" itself as protection. as a RIGHT, when engaged in gathering evidence.

The act gives persons the Right to cause damage, or place people and property at a risk of damage, or cause actual damage (Except fires & arson) if they act under a claimed Right, or with a privilege or interest. It does not constitute as an offence under the act.
i believe this may be significant in light of the clear destruction, vandalism & damage to the Roundwood/Warrior mound/hill. I still need to find the exact date that Edgewood Avenue was constructed. Its clear that Fires were connected to Royal Events & the Hill was involved.
If its not possible to prosecute for Criminal damage to the hill, as a critical heritage site, i believe that Racial Hatred or discrimination charge instead could be raised. We have already seen a legal case in America against Prince Andrew. So its not impossible. This evidence I believe now is strong.
And there have been strange things happening with this petition. My Facebook posts & some group membership have been mysteriously played around with, some content disappearing & then re appearing. Also 1,000 views on this petition appeared in 24 hours when there was only 1,000 the other day, so that was 2,000. but only 1 additional signature. 250 signatures from 2,000 views is only a 1 in 8 sign up percentage. I have asked people if they think the video is not good, or the title needs changing, or the main petition body wording re-writing but those who sign say that its good & they like it.
I believe that it could be being hacked & number of supporters made to look weak. As well as interest in the topic. We know that the Authorities have already given themselves powers to Intervention in Facebook & online media. So they could be using that power. Although, with petitions I believe there is no right to obstruct signatures for "referendum" because it goes above the power of local government & Central Government.
Its also possible there has been tempering & intervention all through history, because even on the Website I quote here there are spelling mistakes that made it difficult for me to find the book I've sited. Liobkirk is used instead of Hobkirk
Could intervention even extend to the keyboard itself? I have a brand new keyboard here & it seems to be misbehaving.
With Such a SERIOUS issue & matter raised.. One would expect it to be very very serious. we are looking at attacks against heritage. Even a council created on the 1st April.. the Day known for fools. And even the Television show "Last in the Summer Wine" was created around 1973 with an old wild druid-like character "Compo" that suggests the competition between the natural Inhabitants & the other competing television show at the time which had been established "Coronation street" that began 6 years or so after the Queens Coronation. It seems that belittling our area may be a long established Royal Tradition following the conquest.
There is a whole lot of serious activity 1970-1973 for certain. & those "Bonfires" on the site that are reported are absolutely significant.
I note that Old Saurum Hillfort has been through many historic changes, although it now is left in peace.. it has suffered through history.
This is not unlike Castle Hill at Huddersfield. Avebury Stone Circle & Henge the same. With a Village that appeared within it & Pubs.
I believe that with "progress" of supposed maturity of civilisation, though we should not have needed to have the "D" implanted on the "Roundwood hill" It clearly is very significant with Castle hill. & an important heritage site. I also believe there is reason to doubt Varley's evidence & excavations as Castle Hill. There are Wells all around the Hill so no need for a well on the top. I believe that Varley created the well. It is almost as a stab wound into the hill. This may be speculation, but i would be very weary of the affiliation's of any further Archaeologists. as we clearly have Heritage issues.
