Almondbury village heritage and appearance is being purposely ruined by Council
Council already engaged in bringing more people to the Countryside/nature side of Almondbury that has escaped the urban sprawl. COMPLETELY OPPOSITE TO PROTECTING THAT SIDE FROM THREAT OF MORE HOUSING & DEVELOPMENT
Tyler Hawkins is on the ATTACK. He wants to take occupation for labour. and Ruin what has survived the destruction.
I am hereby adding a clause to this petition at 170 signatures that as part of protecting Castle hill and the area heritage, Kirklees council will be required to remove these traffic lights and cease and desist any further changes to the village, as it is ruining the appearance and set and setting of heritage. These changes are a waste of money and not needed. The Co-op development of Rose and Crown also failed to place planning notices and give notice of right to object. Examiner circulation newspaper is low also hardly enough for 3 villages of electors to read. This is partly because of intended traffic they hope to bring to Castle Hill when the village is currently peaceful. Its not needed. People can navigate the village without this. Its a waste of money and an addiction that the council refuse to cease and desist from.
Almondbury village heritage and appearance is being purposely ruined by Cllr Bernard McGuin as part of the Castle Hill plan. The Co-op and JP Wilde contractor builder also not have effected the entire village appearance by their co-op development.
Its clear now that Labour, the Tory's and Cllr Bernard McGuin are on a "mission" to ruin the look and appearance of Almondbury village. One of the only beautiful main intact traditional villages and streets in the area around castle hill. all this work is intimately linked to planning corruption, planning breaches and a failure to intervene by the council. in fact they are on a mission to aid and abet on their building and contractor associates and partners. The concrete evidence of the Thandi breach is proof this exists and is happening. crime in building and planning and road works. the problem is much more extensive and deeper rooted and its ongoing and getting worse. we need criminal action and all those involved prosecuted not just here but all over the UK. This ties into evidence i have in another campaign looking at planning corruption on roads and highways. there are serious issues here, with councillors and contractors management and staff. planning and the whole building industry. They seem compelled to break the rules for profit. We must have criminal action against them and the buildings and roads restored. unfortunately the police are intimately involved and the police also attend planning meetings and were involved in the barrier being put at castle hill to stop people driving up there at night. We will not get justice against planning criminals from the police. it needs to come independently.

UPDATE: Almondbury village will soon not be recognisable as we know it. if the council are not stopped NOW
On new information i have, from local residents the story is that in addition to the points i mentioned.. they are expending a school "King James School" and moving other students from another school. The locals were not happy about it. and there has been a lot of complaints about it. Apparently only labour supported it, and got it through. even though its a conservative area. But i suspect this is a front for the issue & that Bernard likely did want this..
So yes, they are adding road features for school kids predicted presence increase at certain times. I still don't think these measures are necessary and I think locals did not want this action with the schools in the first place.
so its been forced on them. They could also have petitioned above council level if they had known they could. Therefore I believe this referendum as its covering the entire area for Area of Natural Beauty, to control growth & population spread & building the School should not be expanded.
