"Warriors Tomb" Hillfort 3.5KM away from Castle Hill (added to Dun Elm) makes this area special
I added the presentation talk about Dun Elm, earlier. this is another site within visual distance of Castle Hill (Cambodunum) that has been reported on old maps to have a name "Warriors Tomb" Its a very obvious hillfort/giant burial mound shape easily the size for occupation. & its 3.5km from Cambodunum, which is about the same distance that Chanctonbury ring hillfort is away from Cissbury ring at Worthing on the south coast.
Here are two video presentations about this hill and I suspect there were three sites in close proximity all co-operating. As well as possibly Cairns on the Penning ridges. A university graduate of Huddersfield university already included this site acknowledged in their work study material.
When Varley resumed his excavations of Cambodunum after the war broke out, this site was Mysteriously built on with a housing development, which is shocking. Considering they when you look at Maiden Castle, Old Oswestry & Warriors Burial Tomb on a map at the same angle & direction they certainly share some alignments. I believe certain entities did not want the area remembering or recognising for its past importance.
