We live and work in a lovely area with lots of young families residing nearby. The local shops include several off licences open TIL 11pm and three pubs all within a very short walking distance to this site.

Granting the Shell petrol station on London Road with a 24 hour alcohol greatly concerns us as residents and small businesses and we believe it could lead to an increase in antisocial behaviour, disturbance to neighbours and increased traffic during night hours.

We are signing this petition and are asking Kingston council to reject this application as it contravenes all four of the licencing objectives:

the prevention of crime and disorder

public safety 

the prevention of public nuisance

the protection of children from harm
