Update - April 2017 Members of the Save Kingswood Golf Course and DVCA met with Kingston City planners to seek an update on the planning proposal for the Kingswood Golf course, submitted by ISPT to Kingston Council in March 2016. Kingston Council is considering a decision on: 1. an application to seek rezoning to General Residential Zone Schedule 2 (GRZ2) 2. an application for a development plan overlay and planning permit approval Council is waiting on the developer to provide answers to a wide range of issues raised by Council and they cannot proceed further until they receive a response. The Kingston City Planners did however indicate that our councillors will hold a Ward Meeting to involve the community further, before any decision is reached by council officers. Once a decision ( yes or no) is made, it will be advertised widely to all residents of Dingley Village and a period of further public comment/consultation will be allotted. Please be alert for both these event and have your say. The proposed development will be of NO nett benefit to Dingley residents, ruin our Neighbourhood Character & just make life harder for residents with increased traffic, increased pressure on all our services; kinders, schools, sports grounds and community centre which are all at full capacity.
