Thank you again for all your support. Having 1,000 signatures in a matter of days is amazing! I appreciate every single one of you.

I had a meeting with my Head of Department yesterday, who told me that the estates team had (finally - after 14 months) submitted their application to put in a ramp... apparently it is going to be many more months until they put the ramp in though... not sure why it is so difficult to be honest. Keep signing so we can make this happen faster, and so they understand the importance of accessibility.

He told me that there is going to be a plan to make things more accessible, but I don't think anything has materialised yet, so lets hope they're not just saying things again. Hopefully action will actually be taken.

I have also been informed that there is another wheelchair using music student, so now both of us are affected in the one department! Let alone many more in the whole university. Some other disabled students have been reaching out to me, and this petition is what connected us, so that is certainly a blessing.
