Seattle’s Segregated Riskscape (Abel, White and Clauson) is a must read environmental analysis of Georgetown and South Park.  The study (summarized here) examines how rich households capture more of the benefits of a cleaner and more sustainable urban environment, while poorer residents become worse off.  It is especially pertinent as it shows the inequities created by Ardagh Glass’s toxic industrial air emissions like the Persistant Bioaccumlative Toxins (PBTs) chromium and lead.
